Where Do I Start?
A Process Built Around You
The process of designing and building a new home can seem overwhelming. Acorn Deck House Company has the experience to take you through the process to create a home that will meet your requirements and exceed your expectations. our dedicated Project Director makes sure that you understand the process, and helps you express your goals to the Design Team.
From start to completion, the process takes from eight months to a year, with the design-and-fabrication portion reliably lasting 10 weeks.

The Design-Fabricate Process
Your Project Director
Your Project Director is your primary point of contact throughout the design and construction process, from your initial inquiry through completion. They help coordinate design and planning discussions, site and zoning review, builder selection, pricing and contracts, material selections, scheduling, and construction coordination. They also help you evaluate total project costs, navigate value-engineering decisions, and stay informed of important deadlines and project milestones.
Your project begins with an understanding of your site, including preliminary surveys, zoning considerations, and other factors that may influence the design and construction of your home.
Our architectural team develops a design around your site, needs, and vision, with your Project Director coordinating presentations and helping keep the project aligned with your goals and budget.
We develop the details needed to move your project forward, including construction pricing and contracts. Your Project Director helps evaluate total costs and identify value-engineering opportunities when needed.
Once your design is finalized, your home is prepared for fabrication. Components are carefully engineered and produced in our facility for efficient delivery and assembly on site.
Your Project Director coordinates shipment scheduling and works with your builder and construction team throughout the build, helping keep the project on track and ensuring everyone stays aligned.
Our relationship continues after construction, with ongoing support and assistance to help you care for and enjoy your Acorn Deck House home.
